Fabulous Pottery! My parents live a few miles from your shop and when I'm over from the USA for visits I always try and purchase some pottery. You seem to becoming more and more popular because you are often sold out of many of your larger pieces.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I am also an artist, a painter in fact www.JaneWilcoxsonStudios.com. I collect pottery and I'm very fussy about what I will buy. Your work is gorgeous and every single day I enjoy every piece that I have purchased from you. Especially my large chicken bowls. Its a shame you don't do Etsy because then I could indulge my habit more often. Good luck with your business and keep up the wonderful work.

Thank you for brightening my days with your beautiful work.

I love your site! Will definitely visit 'when' we make our trip to Cromarty! So thinking we would love to live there! Thank You!!

I came across your site by accident and read all the fascinating history of the pottery and the Dunns. Then I realised that my father-in-law had given me a pretty, little pottery box many years ago by the same Alison Dunn!

Cromarty Pottery nostalgia

I have found myself on your website and was so pleased to see the 'wee' shops that my grandmother and great aunt used to have to sell their own beautifully crafted goods.

Their names were Mary and Jean Barwell and they lived on Braehead. I have only been back to Cromarty once since they moved away, around 1995, but hope to come back this year. Hope to see you then.

Hi. I just wanted to say 'thank you' again for your help when we visited the shop today with our grandchildren. As always you had a fantastic range of pottery and we will certainly visit again.

I remember the pottery in the mid-1970's and the kindness of an entire family who treated a young American traveller as family. It is always great to think back on those times and to give thanks for having known the Dunns.

Have recently returned from a trip to the Black Isle and visited the shop and came away with a posy vase, bowl and a jug. Very happy with my purchases and they look great in my kitchen. Will be ordering more.

Lovely Pottery. We've recently returned home from a visit to Cromarty and we bought two bowls from your lovely pottery. I wanted to tell you that they look perfect in our home. I have been so impressed with my visit that I mentioned you in my blog on the Darcy and Charles website!

Spoilt for choice!
We visited the shop on the off-chance and loved it. Bought a few things and are looking forward to next visit to buy more. Fantastic chance to buy something not only beautiful and well made but also unique!

Your wonderful pots. We visited you two weeks ago during the most wonderful weather and came back to your pottery two more times within the week we spent near Cromarty. We are thrilled with the teapot, plates, jugs, vase, tiles, butter dish and other items we bought. Looking at them reminds us of the Black Isle, and the colours and subjects on your work make us smile. Thank you so much.

Great naked ladies! Missed your naked lady sculptures at the Cromarty Group Exhibition this year - hope they're back next year.

We came across your pottery shop by chance this year when we were passing through Cromarty. We bought two beautiful vases, you have a lot of very nice things to choose from! Hope to come back soon.

We stopped on the Black Isle last week (we live in Kent) and purchased a lovely bowl from your pottery, which takes pride of place on a cupboard in our lounge! We went to several potteries and your prices were excellent!
